About us

It started with a simple belief: every child deserves to feel safe at school.

In 2023, a group of Fayetteville, Arkansas parents came together after the Covenant Nashville shooting — determined to turn worry into action. What began as a grassroots effort quickly grew into a community-wide movement.

Through generous donations and strong partnerships, we've already helped bring critical safety measures to Fayetteville Public Schools — including a $207,000 investment in CENTEGIX CrisisAlert badges for every staff member in the district.

Today, operating as an independent 501(c)(3), we're building on that momentum — from innovative safety technology to awareness campaigns and family outreach. Together, with parents, educators, and neighbors, we're making Fayetteville a place where children can learn, grow, and thrive safely.

CENTEGIX CrisisAlert badges — on every campus

CENTEGIX Alert Badges are now installed across every Fayetteville Public Schools campus, made possible by a $200,000+ partnership between Safer Fayetteville and FPS in 2025.

With the simple push of a button, teachers and staff can instantly alert administration and first responders — a powerful layer of protection for when every second counts. It's more than technology. It's greater peace of mind for every student, family, and educator.
